| The Collins Family has roots into the 17th Century Bristol County Massachusetts History. I have gone back as far as Richard Collins (Born about 1700) and marrying Sarah Dodson (Born 7-15-1701 in Scituate, MA). They married and lived in Freetown, MA. Some of the family moved to Dartmouth, MA while the others stayed in Freetown or moved to Fall River, MA or Tiverton, RI.There are many other old Bristol County names intermingled with the Collins clan.
