7. ROBERT HENRY³ POLLITT (SEVERN², JONATHAN¹) died Abt. Nov 1832. He married ELIZABETH <UNKNOWN>.

Notes for ROBERT HENRY POLLITT:
1. See record #900-P, "Family Notes of Albert Webster Pollitte;" written by AWP prior to his death on November 1, 1953. AWP was a school teacher, public accountant, and insurance agent. It is difficult to determine exactly when or over what period these notes were compiled, but perhaps as early as the early 1930's (see appendix A for additional background). These notes, where verified, have proven extremely accurate. Record states that "Tom Pollitt . . . married Martha Deatley [these names may be in error]; to them were born Alex, Az, and Jim. Alex begat Dick, John Tod, Charlie, Emma, Lucy and Kate. Az had no children. Jim begat George, John, Liza and Bob."

2. Record #899-P states that "Robert Henry Pollitt [Ist] was born in Maryland, married Elizabeth Dorman of Somerset, Md. on August 2, 1823," and that "Robert Pollitt & Elenor Duzan gave the marriage bond."

4. See record #849P: Ethel Pollitt Miles (of Cincinnati, Ohio), a series of four letter written to J. J. Pollitte between February 2, 1974, and August 18, 1974, from his correspondence files. 19 pp., including one page in response.
Record states: "Robert Henry Pollitt and Elizabeth Dorman Pollitt had three children - Francis Asbury, Thomas Alexander and Robert James. Elizabeth Dorman had a sister Annie who married Austin DeAtley at Princess Anne, Maryland. Annie died in Maryland. After the death of Robert H. Pollitt and Mrs. Austin DeAtley, Elizabeth Dorman Pollitt married Austin DeAtley and they had three children, one of whom I think was named Flora S."
