Welcome to our family research site.

Jeff is a descendant of James Cole of Plymouth, 1633. His branch of the family migrated to Ohio in the early 1800's and for the most part ended up in and around Lorain County; He is working on the following family names: Cole, Steinmetz, McAlpine, Lewis, Haaf, Norris, Frolley, Marshall, and Hulme.

Lori is working on the following family names: Begley, Hembree, Goodin, Gibson, Golden, Mays, Thompson, and Wilson. She is currently working on the Begley family whom we believe came from Virginia in the late 1770's to what is now the Cumberland Gap area of Kentucky (Bell/Clay/Knox/Harlan/Perry Counties) and would appreciate any assistance.

She has information back to a Thomas Begley, b. circa 1825 d. unknown, living in Knox County, Kentucky in 1850 (per 1850 Census records)and married to an Amy Hoskins. We are trying to establish Thomas' parentage...any help would be appreciated!
