Born 1888 in 5 Catherine St in St Phillips and Jacob district Bristol to an Irish man William James Park who was from Buncrana or Dublin c.1845 and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Taylor from Yeovil Somerset. He the youngest of the family, served with the Navy (H.M.S Severn), and later worked on the railways (G.W.R),He had many older sisters and brothers from his fathers widowed 1st marriage to Eliza Lavinia Lush. Dickie Married Mary Catherine Hawes and settled in Landore Swansea where he continued to work with the railways. He died in 1976 in Mysydd Tce Landore.
