My Grannie used to ask me, "You through diggin up bones?" I would just smile real big.

It's ironic how she did not care for my genealogy bug, but she has great family history.

I can not say enough about previous researchers. Their hard work enabled me to go right to the source and then spend my time trying to tear down other brick walls. I have documention for all information on this site. With that said, if I have a death record and the informant was misinformed, it could be inaccurate.

Family Tree DNA. DNA testing is a must for researchers these days. My father has been 67 marker tested for the Cockerham project.
