Notes for Ludwig Gorenflo: According to family legend, my Grannie said that her Grandfather's dad, our immigrant Louis, left his home in Germany when he was 17 years old, about 1826. He brought a red blanket with him that my Grannie had for many years and used it for many things around the home.
