I started out researching my family the Samuel Starrett Family. Samuel was born in Ireland on June 1, 1777,and came to America as a young man with his brother Robert. The first record I have of him in America is his marriage to Anne Rebekah Porter on September 5, 1807, in Jefferson County, Ohio. He and his brother Robert and their families moved on to Indiana, finally settling in Tippecanoe County, Indiana about 1826. This is where they settled.
Some of my family names are Beeker, Bowman, Bussart, DeWitt, , Goodman, Hagler, Heier, Hire, Jones, Lane, Lynch, Martin, McCloud, McLain, McKinley, Porter, Stingley and Young.

NOTE: Not all of the information you see here is my own work. Some came from other family members, some from people I have met while researching my family, and from others researching some of the same lines. Thanks to everyone who has contributed and helped. I'm sure this will always be a project under construction.
