I am researching my CHAMBERS line of Cape May County, New Jersey. My CHAMBERS line includes many South Jersey names: BADCOCK, IRELAND, ADAMS, CORSON, INGERSOLL, EMLEY, LUTHER, ARMSTRONG, WHILDEN.

My GIERCYK/GIERCZYK line is from Krakow, Poland, and has been difficult to research. I am second generation born here. My grandfather along with three brothers and a sister, spend time in Chester, PA. He then moved to Northampton, PA, then to Dorothy, Weymouth Township, Cumberland County, NJ; and finally to Estell Manor, Atlantic County, NJ.

My husband's CONNOLLY line is from Ireland. He is third generation born here. They settled in Scranton, PA. Other relatives settled new New Bedford, Massachusetts.

My project has grown over the past four years. I have found some very interesting information regarding my lineage. And, as a result, I have accumulated a large database of South Jersey names that may connect to my CHAMBERS line.

Contributions to our CHAMBERS family tree have been made by my sister, Barbara Giercyk Patterson, two cousins who I found on the internet, Kathy Donovan, kdonovan@aol.com; and Lisa Slighton, slighton@swbell.net.

Notes regarding Martha Corson's lineage dating back to Symon Ingersole and Carsten Jensen were obtained from: 300 YEARS WITH THE CORSONS IN AMERICA, Orville Corson, Vol. II; Melissa (Bruno) Ward, http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ingersol/; sarafina@delcarsdungeon.com. Ken Grace, kgrace@infi.net. Rick Ingersoll, http://www.ingersoll.net/; Rick@Ingersoll.net.

Notes regarding Dinah Ireland's lineage dating back to Jeremy/Jernery Adams and Thomas Ireland were obtained from: Donna Corson, Hammonton, NJ.
