Connolly and O'Kane Home Page

I have chased the Connolly name back to 756AD in County Monaghan, Ireland - but there are HUGE gaps!
I am researching my family ~the Connollys and my wifes family ~the O'Kanes. Both families were from the North of Ireland before the famine and partition and moved during the troubles. We have records dating back as far as 1730 on my wifes mothers side (Marshall), but only as far as the late 1800s paternally on both sides.

I have recently imported a GEDCOM to FTM 3.4 and so have come online to here. The familes I know of in Ireland are:- CONNOLLY, O'KANE, DUNN, FOX, HARFORD, MANSFIELD, MARSHALL, McKAY.
