Notes for J
OHN CHARLES FREEMONT MCLEAN:
John Charles Fremont McLean's family came to U.S. when England invaded Scotland. In later years John Charles Freemont McLean and his father returned to Scotland in order to reclaim castle. Records to prove ownership of the castle were burned along with the church they were stored in, therefore the castle could never be reclaimed.

They say John Charles Freemont's wife was a beautiful woman. The thought of growing old had her turn to alcohol for comfort.

John Charles Freemont died in his 90's. The summer before he died he did his favorite thing.. played baseball. Lived with his daughter Belle Bailey at the time of death. Ms. Bailey had a boarding house in Roundup, MT.

The McLean's were into coal mining.
