PROBABLY NOT WITH THE MIGRATION TO KENTUCKY.
      From Joan Murry book:"On this particular morning on of Raclael's uncles was shot, and neighboring woods were full of hostile Indians. When the child (Eleanor) was just nine days old the Indians drove all the women and children out of the fort and they were obliged to flee in the night with their infants, going to Boone's painted Stone Station, six miles distance in the forest, while the men remained behind to battle until it became apparent it was hopeless"

AMULE BANTA:
He was a member of the militia during the Revolutionary war, serving under Capt. Simon Van Arsdale, 2nd husband to sister Rachel. Was not with the migration to Kentucky, but went latter.
      "He enlisted in Dec. 176 for a tour of four months duty. He marched to Philadelphia, and from there in ten or twelve days was ordered to protect the inhabitants from the incursions of the British occupying New Brunswick"( Quote form Joan Murry book) The book relates in another section that Samuel was probably with General Washington on the west bank of the Delaware, and made the famous crossing of the Delaware with Washington on the night of Dec 25, 1776.

She was born December 28, 1751 in Readington, New Jersey , Hunterdon Co, and died in Preble County, Ohio ??.

LBERT BANTA:
Albert and Styntie moved to Kentucky with a big group in 1780.
He was on of the Dutch Reformed congregation in Kentucky who moved to the Baptist Church. They later moved to Preble County Ohio, were they lived the rest of their lives.
