Day-Bailey-Harris-Moore-Morlock-Cooper

I was born and raised in West Virginia. My father is Wayne Harris from Hepzibah, West Virginia. His father was Jasper Perry Harris from Grafton, West Virginia. He was born about 1894 and died about 1958. I know he was born a Roach. His mother was Jane Kirkbright. She married a man named Matt Harris in Wirt County, West Virginia in 1894. Matt adopted Jasper and his brother Fred. I haven't been able to find any more information on Matt. Jasper married Hattie Day and had 9 children. Hattie was born May 31, 1904 and died in August of 1981. Hatties parents were Cornelius Day (1866-1916) and Cora Myers (1878-1894). Cora was from Greenvalley, West Virginia.

My mother is Wanda Bailey Munson. She lives in Canton, Ohio. Her father was Rev. Roy Bailey and her mother was Virginia Moore. they lived in Ritchie County for years and then they moved to Dawmont, Harrison County, West Virginia where they spent the rest of their lives. Virginia's parents were Junie Moore and Ivy Moore. Ivy was a full blooded Cherokee indian and Junie migrated here on the Mayflower.
