Samuel W. Rose (son of William Edward Rose and Agga)^{1830, 1831, 1832, 1833, 1834, 1835} was born Abt. 1831 in North Carolina^{1836, 1837, 1838, 1839}, and died Aft. Apr 27, 1910¹⁸⁴⁰. He married (1) Rachel. He married (2) Caroline Amanda Smith on 1851, daughter of Smith and Lucretia. He married (3) Mahala Cutrell on Oct 18, 1876 in Hyde County, North Carolina^{1841, 1842}, daughter of David Cutrell and Nancy.

Notes for Samuel W. Rose:
The 1910 Census shows him living with Sylvanus Cooper as the father-in-law, age 78, widower, born in North Carolina, parents also born in North Carolina and able to read and write.

His license for marriage with Mathala Cutrell McKinney dated October 16, 1876 lists his name as Sampson and his parents as William and Agga Rose.

There is some evidence that Sampson and Samuel are brothers, maybe twins.

I really need to straighten out Samson and Samuel as well as who is married to Mathala Cutrell McKinney.
