VAN DORN, GOODBREAD, HEATHCOCK, NANCE

The Van Dorns are from the Netherlands. After arriving in the United States they settled in New Jersey where some descendants live today.

The Heathcocks are originally from Scotland. When they came to the United States they settled in North Carolina. Eventually they migrated to Alabama.They stayed awhile in Louisiana and several years later moved on to Texas. Some of the Heathcocks settled in San Patricio Co. while others moved on to Wilson Co. in Stockdale Texas.

The Goodbreads arrived in Texas December 1834. Phillip Goodbread, his third wife Polly and their children settled in Wilson Co.

Other families being researched are NANCE,DEAGEN,COPE,CALIHAM,PITTMAN AND OTHERS
