Hillard O. Pittman, 52, of 2529 Golihar, died at 4:50 a.m. yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. A native of San Antonio, he had lived here 20 years. He moved here from Robstown Tx.
Pittman was a retired electronic technician at the Naval Air Station. He was an amateur radio operator and was a charter member of the Corpus Christi Radio Amateurs Club, a member of the American Amateur Radio League and of the local Civil Air Patrol.
Surviving are his wife, Blanche; one daughter, Mrs. Marshall Passmore; two sons Carl T. and Earl B. and three grandchildren all of Corpus Christi.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Dunne-Langham Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Robertson, pastor of Aldergate Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mission Burial Park in San Antonio.
