She married YOUNG B. HEATHCOCK on February 14, 1903 in LULING, TEXAS, son of ASA HEATHCOCK and ELIZABETH (BETTIE) CALLIHAM.

Mrs. Josephine Grady Heathcock of Carrollton Texas died Thursday October 29, 1981 at Woods Haven in Pollock, Louisiana. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, October 31 at 11 a.m. from the Colonial Chapel of Blackwell Funeral Home in Luling with Dr. Robert Moore Jr. of the First United Church officiating. Internment was in the Luling City Cemetary at 3 p.m. on Monday November 2.

Survivors include two, Ruben Heathcock of Luling and Y.B. Heathcock of Devine Texas; four daughters. Mrs. Clairice Black of Beaumont, Mrs. Hallie Paul of Premont,Mrs Hazel Henigen of Pollock La. and Mrs. Viola Stewart of Carrollton. One sister, Mrs. Jennie Ferguson of Odessa Tx.

Mrs. Heathcock was born in Caldwell Co. on December 25, 1886. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
