Notes for ORIN D BUTLER: The death notice for O.D. Butler was published on May 1, 1938 on page 1 of the Laredo Morning Times. It reads as follows: O.D. Butler Dies Saturday. Orin D. Butler, 62, district cashier of the Central Power and Light Company at Laredo for some years and who had formerly served as manager of the same concern at Mirando City, died at his home, 1904 Mier St. Saturday at 2 o'clock after an illness that had confined him to his bed since September of last year. He had been with the Central Power and Light Company in Laredo and was made cashier after his return from Mirando City. He is survived by his widow. Funeral services will be held from the home, 1904 Mier St. , Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge with interment in the Masonic plot in the City Cemetary. Funeral services from the home, 1904 Mier St., will be under the auspices of the Laredo Masonic Lodge at 4 p.m. All Master Masons are asked to be at Masonic Hall at 3:15 to attend ante-burial services. All Masons unable to attend the ante-burial services are asked to be at the Butler home at 1 o'clock.
