Cope Family Genealogy

I am researching any Cope families that originated in England. Our family began with Oliver Cope, born in England about 1647. He arrived in Naaman's Creek Delaware in 1682. He raised his family of 2 daughters and 2 sons in Pennsylvania. Our line starts with his son John, born in 1691, in Naaman's Creek Delaware.

My Great Great Grandfather John Wesley Cope was born in Pennsylvania but settled in Fulton County Illinois, he had 1 son (which is my Great Grandfather)and 6 daughters. My Great Grandfather was William Van Buren who lived McLean County Illinois and had 11 children, 6 daughters and 5 sons (my Grandfather was Albert).
