The ROSS W. & NELLIE E. (ROBB) COPELAND FAMILY HOME PAGE

Updated July 20, 2010

I am researching the James Copeland (1756-1828) family from County Down, Ireland and his wife Mary Chambers (1774-1853). They came to this country, first to Pennsylvania and then settled in Adams County, Ohio about 1807 in the Hackleshin area near Locust Grove, Ohio. They had 13 children. They married Teners, Johnsons, Herdmans, Wickerhams, Fullertons and Georges.

I am also researching the descenndants of George Robb and Catherine Forsythe ( of County Donegal, Ireland. They both were born and died in Ireland. Their son's name was James Forsythe Robb (1809-1892) who married Sarah Russel (1815-1892). They migrated to America and settled in Southern Illinois around Coulterville, Illinois. The Robbs married Millers, Milligans, Stewarts and Rosses.
