On the paternal side of the family tree the primary names are BROWN, APPLEGATE, GLAZIER, RHEINLANDER, DARLING, SHORT, and FERGUSON. The Brown line came from Kentucky about 1830, moving into Indiana before the Civil War and to later to Illinois. The Applegates were from Harrison Co. Indiana. The earliest records currently on file for the Glazier, Rheinlander and connecting families are in Indiana. The Ferguson family in my records also originated in Kentucky before 1800, but moved to Indiana near the turn to that century and settled in Pike County, Indiana.I particulary need to find the parents of Albert Porter Brown (1829- 1892) and Spencer Glazier (1923-1908); and to learn more about Millard Wilburn Ferguson (1884-1933).On the distaff side of the family tree, the names THOMASON, SIMMONS, GRANT and CLEVELAND are prominent. The migration appears to be from Viriginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and into Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The earliest known representatives from this family served in the American Revolution, and have been in this country since its early history. There is also an interest in the descendants of Aaron COPPOCK, Leonadus Waters HOLLAND, Bazil JEFFERSON and related families from colonial times to the present. I am happy to share information. My database currently exceeds 4500 names linked to these surnames.
