Bell Hayes Dies Thursday
Mrs Bell Clark Hayes died at her home near Ebenezer Thursday June 10 1937. She was born January 15, 1860 , this making her age 77. She professed faith in Christ early in life and joined the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Good Hope.
She was the daughter of Jim Clark, was united in marriage with C.G. Hayes who preceded her to the grave several years ago. To this union seven children were born, Josie Hayes who died in infancy, Mrs. R. B Sublett died at the age of 23. Those surviving are Mrs. Forrest Warren, Mrs. Herbert Handy, Mrs. I. L. Lemmons, Mrs Allen Wilson and Herman Hayes. She also leaves 24 grandchildren and a host of relative and friends to mourn her death.
Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev J. T Stewart, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Burial was in the Hayes burying ground.

Notes for NANCY SUSAN CLARK:
Mrs. Ben Montgomery died at the St. Anthony Hospital in Louisville Tues. [13 Sept 1949] at 6 pm following an operation last week. Funeral services were held Thurs. at ladies Chapel Church and burial was in the family cem. Services were conducted by Rev. LC. Risen and Rev. J.A. Humble. Mrs. Montgomery was 67 years of age. Her husband preceded her in death last May. Surviving are 3 sons, Fred, Freeman, and James Montgomery, all of Green Co.

  Notes for MARY FRANCIS MONTGOMERY:
Miss Fannie Montgomery, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Montgomery, died at her home near Montgomery's Mill on Pitman Creek (in Green County), Monday about 3 p.m. January 28 (1924), age 21 and 15 days.
She was confined to her bed with complication of diseases for 14 weeks, but bore her suffering with patience. She was a bright christian and was loved by all who knew her. She leaves father, mother and three brothers to mourn her departure. The funeral took place at the Montgomery burying ground near Bucknersville.
