"Funeral Servies at Seals Chapel"

"Martin Frymire, 63, died at his home south of Maunie on Saturday, January 31, after several days' illness. Funeral services were held at the Seals Chapel Church at 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. William Bratton and the Rev. Leo Walton officiating. Burial was at the Seals Chapel Cemetery.

"Pallbearers were Cecil Spilman, Green Huff, Henry Chapman, Cash Wooten, Arva Hanold, and John Frashier. The flower girls were Flora Spilman, Ruth Emmerson, Lena Emmerson, Rosa Huff, Myrtle Koontz, Myrtle Simmons, and Nelia Frashier. Arrangements were by Walter & Stein.

"Mr. Frymire was born near Trumbull in White County on July 7, 1878, a son of John and Sarah Kello Frymire. He married Julia Fritz on June 4, 1898. Five children were born. Three of them are deceased. The mother died July 19, 1910. Mr. Frymire married Clara Joseph on March 10, 1914, and six children were born to this union.

"Surviving him are his wife and six children, Claud Frymire of Emma, Edgar Frymire of Maunie, Mrs. Ella Pearl Wooten of Wood River, Mrs. Marie Gillihan of Carmi, Berniece and Richard Wayne Frymire at home. There are three brothers, Marion of Maunie, Fred of Paducah, KY, and George of Arkansas, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Kingery of Emma and Mrs. Susie Funkhouser of Carmi.

"Eleven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends also mourn."
