| The Mabou Cosmans are descendants of James Cosman, a Loyalist, who settled in Sissiboo, Nova Scotia, Canada around 1783. James Cosman married Catherine John(s) in 1785. My mother was a Campbell, who was descendant from John Campbell. He settled near the Black River, Inverness County, Nova Scotia in June,1816 from Scotland. He married a Mary Campbell. I am researching both families. Any information would be appreciated, I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
