The Cotrone and Lorimer Home Page

We've been researching for only a few years, but have been fortunate to receive quite a bit of information from other family members. Some of the older names we've been able to tie to are Stephen Asten (or Austin) from ~1520 in England as documented in "The Austin/Rich Family History". On the Lorimer side, we can trace back to Jonathan Edwards (early 1700s in Connecticut)and then to Thomas Hooker from the 1630s in Hartford. From there, there appears to be quite a bit of information from various resources, and we are still documenting that.
We're currently looking to find more information on one of our great-great grandfathers, Augustus Hollis from Wayne and Washtenaw Counties in Michigan; and on one of our grandfathers, John Stuart Lorimer, also from Wayne County, Michigan.
