She married (1) ROBERT LEEDER Abt. 1845 in Escott Twp., ON, son of ROBERT LEEDER and HANNA SEWELL. He was born Abt. January 20, 1822 in Rattlesden, Suffolk, England, and died Abt. 1848 in Balleycanoe, Ontario. She married (2) DAVID DILLON Abt. 1849. He was born Abt. 1830 in Ireland, and died Abt. September 1856 in Quabbin, Ontario. She married (3) MATTHEW TOBIN November 23, 1858, son of DARBY TOBIN and BRIDGET REGAN. He was born Abt. 1825 in Parish Kilmesha, Co. Wexford, Ireland, and died Abt. October 25, 1866 in Quabbin, Ontario.

Notes for ROBERT LEEDER:
Family story, related by Francis Leeder, of Brockville, says that he was killed by a tree falling on him. Apparently he was working for his father at the time.

OVR's for the children dying from diptheria are 008854 to 008858, Leeds Cty, Escott Front Twp. This many deaths in one family, so close together, elicited these remarks by the registrar at the bottom of the page: "supposition by many. cause of so many deaths in Mr Gavin's family was by using impure water - as his regular well went almost dry and he resorted to another well - that was not used out off (sic) very much - so I hear. I must say the worst affectation that ever happened a family in this Township. Sad.
