I am currently writing a detailed history of The COULTON and WRIGHT Families. The COULTON Family has it's Australian origins in the Newcastle and Maitland Districts of New South Wales. Of particular note in these areas are the Surnames: CAULTON/COULTON - Kings and Queens Co, Ireland before 1859; MASON - Birmingham, England before 1820 and TRIM - unknown, probably England before 1800. Another area of importance is the Hawkesbury River Area of New South Wales where the Surnames: PACKER, GARNER, TURNER, ROGERS, CELEY/KEWER, DOUGLASS, BURGESS, SHERWOOD/SHEARWOOD, LANE, BARWICK/BERWICK, HURST and WILSON are of significance.
On the WRIGHT side of the Family Tree, the Surnames: WRIGHT, KELTIE (Scotland), WAUGH, AYLETT, DAVIDSON, TOWELL and ROLFE (England) are significant.
