I am researching Moses Coulter, Roberts, Otis Tucker, Hamilton, on Don's side of family in the Georgia/Alabama area. When I met this family, they were living in the Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL area. Several members of the family lived on both sides of the Chattahoochee River which separated the states.

The Jones Bunch started in Georgia and moved to Louisiana. They started with the Edmund Beaird's and John Elbert Sessions leaving the AL moving toward Union Parish,Louisiana and the same goes for the rest of the Joneses. The Jinks's came from Butler County, Georgia heading for Union Parish also. But the Calvin Reams family hailed from Bayou Sara in South Louisiana moving to Union Parish in the 1850's and his father William fought in the War of 1812.
The Samuel W.Whitman were all found in Alabama with the Granvile White from Georgia and Enon, Bullock County, Alabama.
