Hi, I am researching the following families:
Coulter: Charles Coulter who first is record in Blount County, Tennessee b. march 19, 1811 and whose father is Robert Coulter b. abt 1760 in Wilkes County Georgia, or Pennsylvania record in Blount County, Tennessee. Robert's father my have been Richard b. abt 1730 in Middletown, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Charles moved to Walker County, Georgia where most of his decendents stayed. Charles had two brothers James who moved to Ashley, Washington County, Illinois and John Coulter whose family remained in Blount County, Tennessee. John died in a POW camp in Ohio during the Civil War.

I'm also researhing Walker, Bartow, and Catossa Counties, Georgia; and Northwest Georgia: RICE, WILLIAMS, CARNES, ROBERSON; in South Carolina: OWNINGS and HENDERSON; Blount County, Tennessee: COULTER, TIPTON, KITCHEN, RHEA; and Illinois and Indiana: COULTER, KIRKHAM, MCNARY, SHY, REDMAN.
