Seeking any information on African American Family names of Coulter, Lander, Cobb, in Lincoln and Catawba counties in North Carolina between the dates of 1800 and 1975. My husband's father was Jake also. We are searching for info on his grandfather and any of his 5 brothers.We are told thru stories that most stayed in NC. We are basicly just starting.
