Notes for Johann (John) Heinrich (Henry) PLUGGE: They apparently were married in Germany, as their 1st Son Rudolph was born in Germany. Immigrated in 1872. All of the Family went to Maryland in the early 1900's - except Adolph.

On the SS Leipzip that left Bremen, Germany and arrived 20 July 1872 in Baltimore, Md. there is listed Johann Henrich Plugge age 34, a Catherine Plugge age 23, a Johanne Plugge (perhaps this is Rudolph) age 9 months, Heinrich age 60, who died on the voyage, Gesine Plugge age 20, Whilhelmine Plugge age 17, Heinrich Plugge age 9, and a Gesine Meyer age 19. There were all from Germany and going to the United States.
