| Reece Coulter, sometimes referred to as "Rhesa" or "Rees", was born in Virginia about 1794-95. He married Rhoda Pugh 25 Aug 1828 in Warren Co. Ohio. It is thought that his father was Corbin Coulter of Sussex Co., Delaware, and this is a fact that I want dearly to prove. Rhoda is descended from Benjamin Pugh of Montgomery Co., Ohio. Reese and Rhoda ultimately settled in Randolph Co., Indiana. My husband, Kenneth Dale Coulter, is descended from Reese and Rhoda. Other family connections include: Eli Cronk and Elizabeth J. Chance of Highland & Dallas Cos., Iowa; Sanford Milton McGriff and Castina Short of Dallas Co., Iowa.I am willing to share my information with anyone researching these family names. |
