Hermann were deposited in their final resting place at Forest Lawn Cemetery yesterday afternoon. The procession moved from the Arsenal under the commnand of Capt. Bailey, in the following order: Union Cornet Band, Escourt- Corporal's guard, under command of Corp. Ward. Bearers. C.R. Jones, E.B. Jewett, ( hearse in middle of bearers) J. Zimmerman, Wm. McGear. Co. A. 74th Regiment. Officers of the 74th and 65th Reg'ts in Carriages. A salute was fired over the grave, and thus was the last honor paid to John Hermann, the young soldier who gave his life for his country.
