* Coulter's of Del. Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

I'm working on the Coulter's of Delaware. My line starts withEleanor Coulter who first appears in Coolsprings, Delaware about
1720 with six adult sons; William, John, Charles, Samuel, Joseph,
and James. All lived in or around Coolsprings. William had the
following children; James, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Samuel P,
Ruth and, Comfort. The boys left Delaware about 1750 and went to
Bedford County, Penn. Thomas died about 1814. his sons went to
Ohio, Noble County and surrounding Countys. I have traced the
line to ILL, OHIO, Penn, Calf., and Iowa. My goal is to find a
living descended from each of Eleanor's sons. In doing this I
have compiled a large data base on many Coulter, Colter, Kolter,
and Coalter Lines other than mine. Willing to share any info I
have with others. Most of my data starts about 1860 back to 1680.
Have made many contacts with other Coulter researchers.
