Tarboton, Mottram, Edmonds, George Eliot, Forshaw

Updated May 16, 2008

I am researching Tarbotons that originate from Thorner near Leeds.

I am also researching Mottrams from Waterfalls, Staffordshire, England. This branch of the family are connected to the Evans family of which Mary Ann Evans (George Eliot) is part.

I am also researching Forshaws originating from Preston, Lancashire, England. My great great grandfather was mayor of the town in the late 1800s. We would love to track descendants of his children. My great grandfather Henry Philip Forshaw moved to what was Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) in 1933.

My other interest is the Horrocks of Lancashire (working on clarifying the link to the Cotton Kings)
