The Fred A. Poffenbarger Home Page

I am researching the Poffenbarger family from Illinois. Poffenbarger has been spelled many ways over the years and they lived in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois, Virginia and where else, who knows. Fred A. Poffenbarger was my Grandfather and he lived in Fort Calhoun in the early 1900's. I am related to Elias Poffenbarger but am unsure how as I cannot find any record of his siblings or parents. Also we have the names of Silas And Sarah Poffenbarger who may be great grandparents.
I believe they lived in the New Boston, Illinois area and raised horses or trained horses. They then moved to Fort Calhoun, Nebraska and then to Council Bluffs, Iowa.
