"The Peter Jacobs Of Austria And Charleston SC"

I am researching the Jacobs family from Ragusa Austria.Peter Jacobs frist appears in the 1870 census,but I do not know where he was befor that. He married Sarah Royal from New York and they had four daughters: Tilla, Lee, My, Nora, two sons William and the other just a initial M or W.Peter came to the US with a brother his name was Matthew. Matthew took the name of Royal,Peter took the name of Jacobs. I am trying to fine out what happened to Matthew and his family.
In addition I'm researching the Ernest Wright family of Iowa.He was born in 1879 Sioux City Iowa,the family came to Georgia when he was a child. He married Carrie Hood(Jones) they had one daughter Dora and one son Willie Jones. I am trying to fine out what happened to Willie Jones. Any information would be appreciated.I am also willing to share the information that I have.
