- Mary Litch McNeilwith sister-in-law (143 KB)
This is Walter McNeil's second wife, Mary Litch McNeil. His first wife and two sons died in an epidemic in Michigan. This appears to be taken about the same time as Walters. The next two pictures are also of Mary, but much later in her life.
- Alpha Devilo McNeil (29 KB)
My great-grandfather A.D. McNeil in later life. Taken in Kalispell, MT.
- Mary Litch McNeil (72 KB)
- Cora Sweet McNeil (28 KB)
My great-grandmother. Stories of hearing her recite her lineage from John & Priscilla Alden and her husband's (A.D. McNeil) response that he had never bothered to trace his lineage due to the high probability of a horse thief as an antecedent, inspired me to start researching my family's tree.
- Mary Litch McNeil (50 KB)
Taken shortly before her death
- Mary Naomi (Day) Moss with children (43 KB)
I believe this picture to be of my great-great-grandmother, Mary (Day) Moss, and her children. I know my great-grandmother, Otie Moss, is standing in the back and her younger sister, Hope, is seated on the far right of the photo. I don't know the names of the oldest girl, the boy, or the baby in the photo. Mary is seated holding the baby.

My great-grandmother Otie Moss as a young woman. According to my mother, she had bright red hair, which she passed on to all her children and most of her grandchildren.
