The Peter Cowgill Family Home Page

This is the family tree of the Cowgill family in Bradford starting from the early 1800,s to the present day.
The family was in and around Bradford Yorkshire and Lothersdale/
colne areas Yorkshire/lancashire borders.

My grandfather William Henry was a surveyor and architect and was employed by Bradford City Corporation. His brother Joseph
was a Councillor and later Alderman of Bradford and his occupation a land agent.

My mother was a Lightowler. Her father was Albert and his occupation in the textile trade within the city.

Looking for information on both families before say 1870 particularly and other branches of the Cowgill family possibly connected
