Anton Laufenberg came to the U.S. from Germany some time after 1856 (1856-1930 birth-death). He married Rosina (1861-1940 birth-death). They settled in Northern WI. Thier children's names where Lenny, Henry, Herman, Bearnie, Gertrude, and Elizabeth. Elizabeth Laufenberg (Aug. 02, 1906-July 09,1967) married three times. First husband was Emerson Roberts with whom she had eight children. Emerson (May 02,1903-July 13, 1930) died at the age of 27 in a automobile incident. The children were: Tony, Emery, Isabell, Alva, Kenny(died from complications from a WWII injury in 1949),Charles (died as an infant), Clara (died as an infant), and Carolyn (died as an infant). Elizabeths second husband was Clayton H. Vinz (1892-1955). They had five children:Janet, James, Richard, Dean and Betty. Elizabeths third husband was Gardie Roder-Camp Douglas, WI. (May 06, 1903-July 09, 1967). Elizabeth and Gardie died together in the Tomah Memorial Hospital only hours apart from heart attacks.
