Researching the following families:Quillen, originally MacQuillen from Ireland
Reeves, currently stuck with ancestors who lived in Tennessee around 1870
Darrow, originally from England, possibly earlier from Scotland
Boyd, from Tennessee
Demonbreun or De Montbrun, originally the name Boucher from Normandy, France (name changed after land grants in New France)
Binkley, from Switzerland
Stevens, from England (have the line back to 1036!)
Cox, from Indiana
Nichols, originally from Mass., but most of what I have is in Tennessee
and numerous other lines.

I've hit a brick wall with the following people: Lafayette T. Cox, born around 1844, died 1927 in Franklin Co, IN
James M Reeves, a doctor, born around 1850, died 1879 in TN
Charles D Quillen, born 1802 in the vicinity of Nashville, TN, but later moved to, and lived out his life in, Florence AL. I know Charles is a decendant of Teague Quillen, who arrived in Virginia in 1635, through Teague's son Danniel, but I can't find the exact line back.
David Nichols, born 1815 in Dedham, MA, moved to the area around Cheatham County, TN. Looking for both his decendants through his sons, and also his ancestors. Legend has it that he and his brother, William, were orphans, but I haven't proved that.
James Boyd, married in Tennessee in 1840, had a son named Jess in 1839.

Would love to hear from anyone researching the surnames above, and would REALLY love to hear from anyone who can help with my brick walls. I am more than happy to share info.
