3. JACK⁴ STILL (GEORGE³, JOHN², ?¹)¹ was born Abt. 1828 in Old Indian Territory¹, and died 1885 in Gore, Oklahoma Indian Territory "Still Graveyard"¹. He married (1) CATHERINE SEABOLT WFT Est. 1839-1871¹, daughter of HENRY SEABOLT and ANNIE CRYINGBEAR. She was born 1824, and died 1870. He married (2) ELVIRA GOINS¹ Abt. 1867 in Gore, Oklahoma (Cherokee)¹, daughter of MARTIN GOINS and AMANDA BOLIN. She was born Abt. 1852 in Hamelton County TN¹, and died December 04, 1939 in Gore, Oklahoma¹.

Notes for JACK STILL:
Full blood Indian. All the children from his first marriage lived in Talquoyah Oklahoma. Jack gave the land for a graveyard near his home in Gore Oklahoma. They named it the Still Graveyard. In those days the Indians buried their loved ones close to their homes. You could walk out the back door and see the graves. "as told by Ruggie"

Notes for ELVIRA GOINS:
Full blood Indian. She was 11 years old when she was forced to walk the TRAIL OF TEARS. This was in 1838 when the Cherokee Indians were driven from Carolina to Oklahoma which was know as Indian territory. She attended the Methodist Church, it had a steeple just over the door where you went in. After Jack died she married Wallace Ratley. She lived in a large two story house it had twelve rooms. She loved to sing good old religious songs. Everyone would gather at her house once a week to pray, shout and sing. They did not have a preacher but everyone would give testimonials. She lived with William (Edley) in Musk ogee when she died at 112 years of age. She was buried in the Still Graveyard in Gore Oklahoma.
