The Heckers/Morehouse and Weddell/Borreson Home Page

Updated February 20, 2003

This page contains genealogy information for the Heckers/Morehouse line of my family, which includes locations of Bleneim, New York; Grass Valley, California; Portola California; Cornwall and Germany. The Morehouse line can be traced back to Joseph Morehouse of Connecticut in 1733, and Hannah Banks of Connecticut in 1739, and their ancestors who eventually settled in Grass Valley.

I am specifically looking for information on my great-grandparents Frank Hecker, born in Germany about 1885, and his wife Maria Rademacher born about 1890. Maria died in childbirth in 1904, and Frank went on to marry her sister "Clem" (Clementina?) I can find no other information on the Hecker or Rademachers at this point.

The information on the Weddell/Borreson line of my family includes locations from Utah and Washington, as well as Denmark and England. Weddell includes information on George Weddell who came to Pennsylvania in 1753, and Niels Borreson who immigrated from Denmark in the mid-1800's.
