-WILL- "In the name of God, Amen. I, James Alexander Senior of Peas Township, Belmont County, State of Ohio, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, and first I commend my soul to God who gave it, and my body the dust whence it came to be buried in a christian like manner at the discretion of my executors whom I authorize to lay out one hundred dollars in procuring a tomb-stone and other necessaires about my grave. And secondly I give and bequeath to my children as follows: To Andrew, Jean, Margaret, Mary, Genet, Thomas and Elizabeth to each one dollar; and also one dollar to the children of my daughter Agness, Thirdly the remainder of my estate, both real and personal, I give and bequeath to my following children, viz: James, John, Peter, and Robert, whom I appoint to he my heirs alone to be equally divided amongst them, and lastly I appoint my sons James & John Alexander to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
