25 December 1836. Will of John STULTS (STOLZ). March Term 1837. Wife Temperance, the place where I now life and plantation where widow SNIPES now lives, during life or widowhood, etc. Son Absalom STILTS, $5.00 in addition to what he received. Son Jonathan, 1/4 of a share of my estate. Son Philip, ½ share of my estate. Daughter Levinah (wife of Lewis HAUSER), ½ share of my estate. Grandchild by my daughter Lucy NICHOLS and Eli HENDREN, ½ share. Daughter Marryann (wife of Jonathan MARKLAND), ½ share. Heirs of my daughter Temperance, ½ share. My granddaughter Maryann (of Absaloms firs wife), $10.00. Five youngest children: David, Elisha, John, Daniel, and Elizabeth to have full shares each to School and raise them. Mentions having bought shares of Peter and Abraham SHAMEL and after death "old Mrs. SHAMEL" Executors collect and divide said shares. Executor: Frederick H. SHUMAN (SCHUMANN).
