I am currently seeking information on the Cox family from Lincoln County, North Carolina, from the late 1700's to the early to mid 1800's. Lineage of Fleet Cox (circa 1785-1840) and Presley Cox (circa 1810) from this county is needed. These individuals are presumed to descend from Peter Presley Cox and Mary Margaret Fleet from Westmoreland County, Virginia, circa 1700.
