Past and Future Generations of Samuel Coy

My primary goal in genealogy is to trace my ancestry back to the immigrants and to find the ship they came on. While at it, I find it fun to watch the growth and developement of the "American Family".
The John Coy Family of German, New York began in 1789 in Preston, Connecticutt with the birth of John Coy. His parentage is still under question although I believe Nathan Coy to be his father. All information both forward and backwards on this family is appreciated.
