| I am presently researching my family line with the first positive ancestor: Hiram Crabtree b. 07-Oct-1789 somewhere in South Carolina. Served in the War of 1812, Married Elizabeth Hunter. Homesteaded in Schuyler County, Missouri in 1856. Surnames include: Crabtree, Hunter, Farris, Arehart, Tracy, Gideon, Mitchell, March, Pruitt, Harp, Sumpter, Grow, May, Thommen, O'Brien, Winn, Byrn, Garrett, Jackson and more. Helen's line: Bennett, Davis, Fox, Pauley, Nichols, Smith, Evans, Richardson, Turner, Whitmarsh, Salmon, Colvin, Pace, Payne and more. Location is mostly Boone Co., Missouri.
