Dear Anna:
Please forgive me for not answering your letter in long-hand.
I want to tell you how much I appreciate your efforts in the Anderson matter.
First - A E-mail some time ago, and in this letter – has caused me to believe that you are having some difficulty with the data as presented so far. I will admit that there are many corrections to be made and will endeavor to make any as found in my data placed on the Internet. That is why we love folk like yourself that care about what is presented “On-Line.”
Second - I apologize if anything found On-Line (OL) was in error in my database. I shall have to use print out the Family Tree Data that you sent on the Floppy Disk. I really thank you for that. It shall, because the data is so huge in size, all be placed in consideration and weighed against what we have and corrections where needed will be made.
I notice that you are from Saltsburg, PA. I well remember Saltsburg! My father and myself often went to Saltsburg. We worked for H J Beuheight and Pyrofax Gas. We delivered tanks of cooking gas at least once a week for several years. I’ll never forget the time I visited there to deliver and after making my stop, forgot to chain the cylinders on the back of the truck, and when I put the truck into gear and started up the hill all 25 cylinders of gas rolled off the truck. The amazing thing was – none of those 2 and 300 pounds of metal and gas exploded or hit and damaged any parked cars or front porches and houses along the road. That is an experience I shall never forget. I also remember how neat the village always looked.
Again, Anna – So many thanks for your determined efforts to get things right OL.
May God Bless you!
Bob & Glenda Craig
PS: Any time you have data, images or photos – We would really appreciate you sharing them with us!
