In the Name of God Amen the thirteenth day of May 1769 I Michael Pfoutz of Warwick township Lancaster County, Yeoman being very sick and week in body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto mind the Mortality of my body and knowing that is appointed for all men once to die I mack and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say presently and first of all I give and Recomand my soul in to the Hands of Almighty God that give it and my body. Bourial at the discretion of my Executors nothing troubling but at its general resurrection I shal receive the same again by the Mighty Power of God and as touchen such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise and distribute of the same in the following manor. Item First I give and bequeath to Catarina my dearly beloved wife, during her life time free lifing in my houss where I now dwell my bed and bedstead and chest with all the linens therein one glass bress and what in it and a Kitchen cuberd and all my kitchen furniture my house clock and of my Real Estate I give and make over unto her five hundred pounds of Lawful money of Pennsylvania to received in the following manner after my decease ten pound Annum or yearly to her one year and one milck cow to be kept for her own use and twelve bushels of wheat and five bushels of reiy and five bushels of buckweat 25 pounds of Porck 25 pounds of Beef Egs ... . flour 1/4 of an acre, 4 pounds of woell per anum. The above mentioned two hundred pounds shall remain in my son John his hands without interest and of Catharina my wife dies befor she makes use of the pd money it shall com to my kein in equal shars. Secondly I give grand make over unto my youngest son John one hundred and nienty acres of land being in the above town and township with all the Improvement there for eight hundred Pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania provided that my son John shall have his equal share of the eight hundred pounds and rest her shall pay in fellowing manner. Firstly three pounds yearly until the rest is paid the above Two hundred pounds deducted back for my wife; thirdly..... and is my Will that my Son Jacob shall receive the first one hundred pounds of the yearly pay of my son John further it is my will that all my heirs shall have shares alike and so much as the other and shall be even. My son Michael received 400 , my son Jacob received 175 pounds, 12 shillings one seven pince my daughter Catrina received 107 pounds one shilling farther it is my will that my mother Ursula Pfautz shall have twenty shillings yearly during her life time which shall be paid out of the ten pounds above menchened coming to my wife and my son John shall fine foreward to my wife to the above menchened house also I give to my beloved wife Catharina Pfautz and John Zug whom I likewise constitute mack and ortain my sole executors of this my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have herein set my hand and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament

Lancaster county On the thirteenth June Anno Domini 1769 Before me these subscribers personally appeared there within Michael Weiland, Samuel Bear the two Subscribing Witnesses in the within will and on their solemn affirmations according to law did declare and say that they were present and saw and heard Michael Poutz (Michael Pfautz) the testator within, named sigh seal publish pronounce and declare the within writing as and for his last will and testament ant that at the doing thereof he was of sound and well disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief. Be it remembered that on the thirteenth day of June Anno Domini 1769 the Last will and testament of John Pautz Late of Warwick Township in the county of Lancaster yeoman deceased and proved in due term of Law and letters testamentary were granted to Catharina Pautz and John Zug the executors therein named they being first disqualified well and truly to administer the estate of the said decedent and to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Registers Office at Lancaster on or before the thirteenth day of July next and to return a true and just account of their administration on the said Estate when thereto Lawfully required. Given under the Seal of the said office . Edward Shippen.
