Catherine Creel Deibel, died on Thursday afternoon, March 3, 1977, at
12:45 PM; wife of the late Leopold S. DEIBEL;
daughter of the late ALBERT CREEL and MARY LORIO,
mother of Mrs. Maurice Rappold, Edwin, Robert, Earl, and the late Joseph
Alvin Deibel; sister of Mrs. John Matranga and the late Mrs. Edward
Apffel, Mrs. Robert Johnson, and Mrs. Christian Johnson, Anthony,
Charles, Otto, and Alonzo Creel; also survived by 14 grandchildren, and
16 great-grandchildren, age 83 years, a native of Mississippi City,
Mississippi, and a resident of this city for 66 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also parishioners of St. Rita's
Catholic Church, Harahan, LA., are invited to attend the funeral.
Services from McMahon Coburn Briede Funeral Home, 600 Moss St. at North
Jefferson Davis Parkway, and Bayou St. John, on Saturday morning March
5, 1977 at 11 o'clock, followed by Requiem Mass at the funeral home.
Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 7 until 10 p.m.
